ACROTEC S.R.L. is a research spin-off that produces meteo-hydrological surveillance systems. FadeOut Software collaboration with Acrotec started with a training on the Job service with the aim of introducing FadeOut Software methodology in the Acrotec business process. This was part of a project commissioned by the Italian Civil Protection authority: a software Middleware for Data Exchange, Environment Monitoring and hydrogeological forecast called Experience that is in use by Italian Central Civil Protection Department in Rome and all others Functional Centers.
FadeOut Software managed analysis and design of this software products for the Italian Civil Protection Authority using UML language and Unified Process standards.
The collaboration with Acrotec is on-going; FadeOut Software has also become the Project Manager for ASI (Italian Space Agency) Opera, a research project with the aim of introduce Earth Observation Data from satellite in the hydro geological forecast.
